How We Work
As colour specialists, we treat hair colour as a technical service, not a trend. Some results can be achieved in a single appointment, others are a process, and all colour requires maintenance. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Every service is planned using colour theory, chemistry, and your hair’s full history. We set expectations before we begin and focus on results that are predictable, wearable, and healthy for the hair.
Colour is chemistry.

Because of this, we are intentional about what we offer. We do not provide services that interfere with colour chemistry or reduce predictability, such as keratin treatments, chemical smoothing, perms, or relaxers.

Why Consultations Matter in Colour Work
We require virtual consultations because:

Previous colour history affects every outcome.

Colour always fades, and fades warm.

Hair only grows about ½ inch per month.

Long hair that has not been coloured in a year is not 100% natural.

Strand Testing When Predictability Is Uncertain
When hair chemistry cannot be fully predicted, we perform a strand test before proceeding. This allows us to see how your hair will actually react, confirm what tone is achievable, and avoid unnecessary damage. It also ensures expectations are realistic before any full application takes place.
A strand test is a professional safeguard, not an inconvenience.
How Pricing Works for Colour Services
Colour pricing varies because no two heads of hair are the same. Cost is influenced by:
Hair length and density, amount of lightening required, previous colour history, technical complexity, compound services, time and product usage.
This is why our virtual consultations exist. They allow us to plan accurately and allocate the correct amount of time and care to your service.
